We promise to deliver this to all of our clients by utilizing only the highest quality local ingredients, custom seasonal chef inspired menus’, knowledgeable and professional staff members in all areas of operations and delivering prompt and professional customer service.
Our Story
Premier Chef Services Inc. was formed in 2015 by chef/owner Shane Tank.
Before residing on Martha’s Vineyard, Shane’s culinary career spanned over a decade and includes positions in top restaurants in Vail CO, extensive studies overseas in Brugge, Belgium and a Bachelors degree in foodservice management from Johnson and Wales University in Denver, CO.
In 2012 Shane moved to Martha’s Vineyard, where he currently resides. Before starting Premier Chef Services catering on Martha’s Vineyard Shane has worked as Sous Chef at the Harbor View Hotel and head chef of a large off-site catering company.
Premier Chef Services now has a talented team of chefs with strong food industry backgrounds spanning over a combined 40 years. All PCS chefs are highly trained with extensive experience in fine dining, large scale catering operations, and in-home private chef services. PCS chefs utilize only the highest quality local, seasonal ingredients available for all events. All menus are designed around seasonal Martha’s Vineyard produce, seafood, livestock, and other specialty ingredients. We are happy to live in a place that can provide us with such a bounty of local ingredients and love to share them with our clients. Local fisherman and farmers are our friends and we are proud to purchase the fruits of their labor and offer them to you.
Premier Chef Services is a full-service caterer and can help you with every aspect of your event planning and execution. Menu development, working with rental companies to acquire necessary equipment and supplies, bar set-up, staffing, grocery shopping and much more. We enjoy creating unique and special events that create lasting memories. Events can take place at your rental home, the beach, your favorite island farm, or local event space.
